I want you to know that your articles, despite the fact you think you can't be honest due to other peoples agendas, etc., is important. I want you to know that I really look forward to reading your blogs. There are so many out there; yours is relevant and important.

So you know, your blog has kept me borderline sane recently. I am an alcoholic, no shit. I have finally admitted that in the last 6 months - very accomplished, in many ways, yet a HFA for sure, 46 years old, drinking for at least 30 years. I know I need help. I know I need to go to AA. But I am scared and haven't been able to bring myself to that point. Your blog has, however, stopped me a few times from using and is helping, A LOT.

I am not yet sober consistently, but I do want to get there and hope I can get to AA. Your blog and others, of successful recovered alcoholics is important, at least to those of us struggling on the edge.

The best thing that I remember that you said in a blog that I try to remember everyday, is

"Let's all stay sober today, no matter what, OK?"

I just want you to know you are making a difference. I know I personally am at a crossroads. I am soon not for this world either by my hand or the bottle, or I will prevail. I don't know what is going to happen. but your blogs have made a difference to me and I know they are making a difference to others.

Take caresnowghosthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01276537929107899730noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16472085.post-58658773092966550012010-11-11T09:00:33.260-07:002010-11-11T09:00:33.260-07:00Thanks for the reminder...I need to pay my bills a...Thanks for the reminder...I need to pay my bills and take out the trash. Truly a reminder of how there is unexpected beauty in our everday world which can leave us absolutely breathless. Love how God shows up when we least expect it! RE the security issue -- I had a scare a little over a year ago and changed all my passwords. The result -- I haven't been able to access my main email account I've had since 1997 ever since. Called service provider, and they were nice, but no dice. The hyssop branch was symbolic of the sprinkling of the Passover lamb's blood using a hyssop branch - see Exodus 12:22.

So Jesus was truly the Passover Lamb; then he said, "It is finished." When did Jesus drink the last cup? Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16472085.post-59722437835074292052010-11-10T20:46:27.777-07:002010-11-10T20:46:27.777-07:00I have a record of my user ID and passwords. Of course we are often told not to write down our PW's, but when one needs to use so many, it just becomes impossible.
Imagine being in your 70's and remembering usernames and passwords for a couple of banks, a couple of investment firms, a few online newspapers, etc. etc.Arlenenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16472085.post-91333135979866541992010-11-10T09:12:52.173-07:002010-11-10T09:12:52.173-07:00BEAUTIFUL leaf!!!BEAUTIFUL leaf!!!Jess Mistress of Mischiefhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14766848582303523764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16472085.post-60933570665655898432010-11-10T08:56:37.179-07:002010-11-10T08:56:37.179-07:00I have one or two bills that I could NEVER pay onl...I have one or two bills that I could NEVER pay online due to uber paranoid network nerds on the other end. I have one of them automatically deduct the bill now. I get an email before hand in case of problems. The other one, I pay from my bank's online bill pay. I get up to 10 bills free and it still saves me the postage. As a nerd, I can attest to the fact that we have never been anywhere near normal. ::sigh::

♥namaste♥Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16128247878961221421noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16472085.post-43320228398364732202010-11-10T07:49:22.972-07:002010-11-10T07:49:22.972-07:00I made a word file that contains all of my user na...I made a word file that contains all of my user names and passwords. My position was this: Don't restrict access to MY money and then tell me it's an added service. MY money is protected by laws, etc. If you can't handle YOUR security, that's your problem. Very frustrating, at times. I feel your pain.Roxiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01440676304336222503noreply@blogger.com
