Today I will be busy from long before the sun comes up until long after it goes down. I will start my day with my new meditation practice, then an AA meeting, then work all day, an hour of silent prayer at church after work, and then Biblical School.
Though I had such a busy weekend and I never got a moment of "down" time, I am still looking forward to today. I really do appreciate how nice my life is, even though it is a bit too crowded with activity.
Let's start another sober week, OK?

I love to "complain" about being too busy, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
Have a fruitful day.
Maybe you will get a few "miles" in just living today!
Sounds like you are on your way to nirvana.
I overslept this morning (eek) but still made it to work before 7am. Glad you had a great run and I would love to smell that creek. Does it smell like the creeks around here? Sometimes they smell like dead crawfish.
My life...is a bit too crowded with activity.
I agree.

I agree.
I enjoyed the smells, from seeing the photo.
Have a wonderful day. The picture from your run is awesome.
I want to come go to biblical school with you little strawberry tart.
Contemplative prayer has made a huge difference in my life...
What a beautiful place to run. Running in all that splendor must be a meditation in itself.
What a beautiful scene you have every morning! What a way to start the day.
Happy Monday :)
Looks like a nice run route. I'm having a busy week too.
Smell-o-blog. That would be nice at times like this. Enjoy your week of sobriety. Like that.

Dear Mary,
Michelangelo's masterpiece, "The Creation of Adam," in the Sistine chapel goes an incredible way towards depicting our true relationship with God and His desire for us.
God is right there for us, we just have to reach out to Him because he is actively seeking us. We do not have to engage in extensive physical activities and spiritual disciplines to have a relationship with God.
Our reconciliation with God is by faith and not by physical preparation or purification. (Colossians 2:23) "God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8) It is our sin that separates us from God, not our lack of physical purification.
Peace Be With You

hmmm the only message he left me was to tell me that I was a fat satanic pig...over and over.
I just think it is funny that he can tell you how wrong you are no matter what you are doing - even abiding by the tenets of his OWN religion. Maybe I should take his advice and stop praying and studying the Bible? hmmm. No, I don't think so.
