It is 56º, dark and crisp outside. I can hear the newly fallen leaves blowing in the slight breezes. What a wonderful morning to head out for a run.
I will drive to a nearby park to hit a trailhead and run for a while. I will end my run at the park where I am meeting a sponsee at 8 a.m. We will talk for an hour or so then I will head home and cook dinner for my son. My son usually comes over on Sunday for an early dinner and to watch the football game.
There just couldn't be a better day to be alive and sober and one of God's creatures on this earth!

He eats dinner in the morning?
Boy, you guys in Colorado ...
Oh Daave, we are eating "dinner" at noon or 1:00... not in the morning.
It's funny because I call a noon meal lunch and an evening meal dinner. But others in the South call the evening meal supper. I wish that it were crisp here. We're back to Indian summer.
Glad you are feeling better. Enjoy some time with your son today.
Today is always a good day to be sober.
Sounds like a lovely day for a lovely woman. Here in the midwest, we call the evening meal supper too. (At least, at Chez Annie we do!) lol
Happy Sober Sunday to you, Missy!
One thing we miss in SW FL is the experience of seeing leaves falling, the wonderful smells, the colors, the breezes, the coolness, the mountains, the changing of everything.
Hey that's more than "one thing". But we DO eat ice cream at 11 AM (Rarely, it says here.)
