I won!

I won my Nike + challenge - meaning I hit 55 miles before anyone woman in the 55+ age category (including those who weren't actually 55 years old.) I have run probably a bit too much in order to do this. Yesterday I ran 8 miles, and this morning I ran 5. But I guess as long as I feel OK, I shouldn't worry about it. I am going to have an "easy week" this week, having already logged 86 miles in January.

My computer is very nearly kaput I believe. I couldn't even get my blog this morning. I am trying to decide among computers - none of which I can afford to buy. Should I go ape and get the Mac I want so very badly, or should I purchase another low-end Dell (which is a perfectly good computer.)??? And I can't figure out how to save my photos - I have so many of them on my computer.... every time I read about Aawoken's inability to access his photos, it caused me to break out in a sweat.

I need to get to work. I have meetings all day and they are intense. And then after that - an AA meeting. Thank God.

I don't have a big book here with me, so here goes, one of my favorite quotes, off the top of my head:
"God could and would if he were sought." -- Alcoholics Anonymous, p. __

Send vicious email to the cheater!!!!!

First check out Carbonite. It's really worth the money to have your photos stored non-locally. Then run and buy a Mac. I walk you through all the tech stuff if you like.

Great for you about the running milestone. No revenge necessary because she has tolive with herself. ewwwwwwwwww

AAwoken knows best - I am sure. However, when I got my new computer last month, a geek friend transferred all my files on my hard drive to the new unit. I lost nothing. It took him all of about 5 minutes.

Congratulations.

I bought a 200 gig external hard drive for $60 after rebate and plugged it in to back up photos and music.

That might work. Again congrats.
