Friday Morning

You get there and there are stairs...
and some stairs...
And then, some more stairs...
View from the stage at Red Rocks.

Last night after the meeting, after having sat still for an hour, I stood up and realized that my legs suddenly got very sore from climbing those stairs 3 times on Weds. night. I am still going to run 3 miles this morning, probably they will feel better once I start running. It sure was fun to climb those stairs.

I am grateful to be alive and sober and living in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in the United States of America.

"The moment Twelfth Step work forms a group, a discovery is made - that most individuals cannot recover unless there is a group. Realization dawns on each member that he is but a small part of a great whole; that no personal sacrifice is too great for preservation of the Fellowship." -- As Bill Sees It, p. 9

Awesome pic! I love CO, although I just go for the skiing. It's a truly wonderful place. I'd love to go in the summer sometime. I'm glad your grandaughter likes my "eyeball!" LOL

hi
found this page while searching for on line aa meetings topics etc.
first post and not a "blogger"
but i,m celebrating 12 yrs sober this week and am very challenged at present with life and am not real active a meetings because of transportation.
I know it is to late for this post
but I chose to post here because ????? I grew up in colo. and have spent many a day and night very high
in red rocks so it is a bit of ?? don,t know the word irony, memorys?
last show there was the dead and so many yrs later so many of those folks are now truly dead.
seems like nice folks here I will try and stay active. thanks Rick in wichita kansas.
