Clean Towels

I saw this abandoned building on the way to the trailhead today and asked my friend to stop so I could take a photo. I love this building. I particularly love the orange boat behind it.

On Sunday I generally try not to do much. It is a good principle and an actual commandment if you care about such things (I do), so I do attempt to not "work" on Sunday. But I do laundry. There is something about the smell of towels spinning in the dryer while I watch a Sunday football game on a fall afternoon. On Monday morning, it is awfully nice to have nice clean towels to start my week with.

I made a bunch of phone calls today. Just to talk to people. It is a wonderful thing to have friends to call.

I think I am ready to face another week day tomorrow... and it is a good thing, because it will be a week day whether I am ready or not.

And I thank God for another sober day.

Sometimes clean towels are as good as it gets and that's good enough...

Blessings and aloha...

Yes, on the laundry.

I love that picture. It could be a painting.

Love this pic. I makes me think that a couple worked hard all their lives running this little store, but the boat was the dream that someday they could retire and just go fishing.
I'm glad you rested yesterday.

I hope you feel better today, and ready to face another week. I find I go through periods of fatigue, especially when I'm running consistently. Maybe that is what is going on with you? Sometimes I need to force myself to take a day (or three)off from exerising, guiltfree.

Loved the photo and the boat going nowhere behind the abandoned building. This was my life before sobriety.
Have a great week of practicing the priniciples and growing ever closer to your Higher Power.
All I have to do since returning from our trip yesterday is put away the clothes my better half washed, clean out the camping boxes, hit my women's meetng an a noon meeting, then come home and write write write. Gorgeous day.

I wonder about the orange boat. Is there a lake nearby? The austerity of the photo is great.

I read this earlier but guess I was negligent in leaving a comment.
