Easter Morning

Easter is a day about renewal, new life, forgiveness, and God's unfathomable love for us.

We of Alcoholics Anonymous have each experienced these.  We do not even need to believe that God is working in our lives, God will still create the most beautiful works of healing and love.  He is very capable of working anonymously, never seeking credit.  And that is a good thing because most of us puff up our chests and talk loudly of all of our "work" that got and keeps us sober.

I am so incredibly grateful for God's infinite mercy and love.  I could "work" for a lifetime and never come close to earning what I have been so freely given.

Happy Easter.

I hope you have a beautiful one.

I thank God for my sobriety and who and what I have in my life today.

Yes, I want to get in on the "Happy Easter Mary Christine" thing here. And even while we all are saying "Happy, Happy, Happy Easter"...the wheels of heaven are being turned, as you said.

And our lives are being prepared for yet more activity, more "helping others", or whatever--His will.

What ana amazing day to be reborn! I celebrated my AA anniversary on the actual date ( March 27), but Easter Sunday 2002 was the first time I went to a meeting, so it always feels like my spiritual rebirth. Sober blessings to all!

I am grateful I was able to accept the gift of sobriety. I have to do the maintenance. And that is pretty easy work to receive such huge amounts of love and recovery.

One of my favorite words, "unfathomable" , and it rightly can only be used--in my opinion--in desciption of an attribute of God.

What a day this has been!

Not sure if I have commented on this blog before.

I hope my husband, too, will see the tulips of his life soon.

Have a nice day.
