May Morning

This the view of the tulips in my back yard from the deck this morning.  I used the moody edge blur to obscure the view of the dandylions (apparently I don't know how to spell this weed).

I am heading out for a run.

I feel discouraged this morning.

Aging is not for wimps.  It is difficult to see the world "move on" and feel left out.  It is very difficult to see the things you love become something else.

So I will go out and run.  And probably by the time I am done with my run, I will have a different perspective.  I thought about waiting until then to write, but I just want to get this over with.

Let's all stay sober today, no matter how we "feel", OK?

I've noticed that sometimes my emotions lie to me - but I've noticed that with age comes sadness.

I wish much happiness for you today and always.

Doesn't cure the sadness but makes life a lot more enjoyable. ;-)

It's really weird getting older isn't it? I have had this conversation w/So in the past. I sure hope the snow is over for you.

I love the way you treated that picture. Well done.

Fortunately, feelings are not facts.

I hope that run helped, it always helps me.

I love that: 'stay sober regardless of my feelings about it or anything' so true - thanks!

Mary, I'm in a "good place"...so I am reaching out my hand. Grab on and come up to a better place. NOW!

God is God. You are YOU. Aging is aging. What's done is done. The past is the past. The future is somewhere out there. The time is NOW!

Choose to be happy today, No Matter What! You have such a brightening smile. Use it!

You GO, girl! (And "running" is still in your future, just gotta get back in the wing of it. You'll be there. You got places to run...late July, early August. HEY! This could be my blog...just change the name--or not?

No matter how I feel I work to stay sober, no matter how old I get, I can't stop it and I agree with Pam, I'd be in the passenger side, of her car, but I'd be there!
