Rush, Rush, Rush...

In one hour, I need to be sitting in an AA meeting.  For now, I am sitting in my pajamas.  So this won't be long.

I am still hurting from my fall.  And still incredibly grateful to be a 57 year old woman walking around telling people how she went over the handlebars of a bike onto concrete... walking around, fully functional, telling people this.

Maybe something got a little askew in my brain though.  Yesterday I went shopping with my daughter to the most dangerous place on earth.  The Apple Store.  As I watched her purchase an iPod Touch, a young man was telling me all about his.  When he showed me the Bible application, I was sold.  And I bought this gadget.  So, now I need a new purse - so I can keep my Blackberry AND my iPod Touch.  This thing is so fancy-schmancy, I can't even believe it.

Gotta get me and all my gadgetry out of here to an AA meeting... and then to work all day.  YAY!

Let's stay sober another day today, OK?

I almost bought an iPhone once, I got a big ass monitor instead. It is a neat gadget, though!

Have fun with the iPod touch. I have the iPhone and I LOVE all of the applications that it has. It makes my life easier. I am always looking for phone numbers and constantly getting lost. My iPhone has gotten me out of so many jams in the past with the GPS and Yellow Pages applications. Take care!

I have an iPhone, which I occasionally post to my own blog from (posts labelled, oddly enough, iPhone.).

I love it. Also, go to the App Store and check out "The Twelve Steps Companion" (if you search for alcoholism you'll find it). It's $3, and it has the whole first edition of the big book, and maps to central services all over the country.

Everyone here has all this latest tech stuff. Well, several years from now, I'll "acquire" some toys like y'all have--maybe when you upgrade, and want to format and sell the old things???

Admire the way ya keep moving, girl. My muscles and a couple bones are shouting at me, after only two days of yard work.

If I had gone over the handlebars of my bike, I'd be an "instant spirit"...

Any excuse for a new purse is good.

I still don't have an electric can opener or call waiting.
sigh.
I like that you get gadgets and new purses to put them in.

You will love it. I have one and it is awesome. So many apps, so little time.

I have to stay away from "a"-stores. Really makes my inner geek want to come out to play.

I truly hope you enjoy your new spiritual tool (sounds much better than "toy" - doncha think?). I'm sure there is a way that it will make you more useful in your life.

Blessings and aloha...

The day you got your iPod Touch I got a new blackberry to replace my old phone. I thought I was the only one with a blackberry and an iPod touch. My biggest challenge is sitting through a meeting for an hour without playing with my gadgetry. Maybe someday I'll be able to sit calmly for an hour, that day probably won't be today though. Hope you have a good day and enjoy your weekend.
