Tuesday

Starting my fifth day with a killer toothache.  I hate to say it, but that is about all that is on my mind today.  This afternoon I will see the dentist, and hopefully my pain will soon be over.

My sponsor and her husband are coming on Thursday.  I still have work to do to get the guest bedroom and bath ready.  But it is mostly done.  I am hopeful that I can get it completely done tonight or tomorrow night.

I had my final exam for the 2nd year (of 4) of Biblical School last night.  I missed one question!  It was a trick question, I tell you!  I can't believe I am already half way done with this program.  I thought I would be an expert, but the main thing I have learned is to be very very humble about this, because it would take more than a lifetime to really study the Bible.

How about let's stay sober today?  Through good times and bad...

always lovin' your roses.
I can not believe it has been 2 years either! I remember your very first class and how excited you were. That excitement is STILL there.

One injection and that pain will lift. Hope the solution after that will be an easy one.

Oh, Mary, I hope the tooth pain is gone today! I can soooo relate. It effects EVERYTHING you do. I have only had one really bad toothache in sobriety and the pain almost lead me to Jack Daniels, as my dentist was on vacation, luckily I found a colleague of his that called me in some antibiotics and pain killers. I was ready to do whatever I had to to get rid of that terrible pain. I hope it goes away so you can enjoy your company.

Congrats on your test - I presume that means you're 1/2 way to sainthood?
A friend used to say that the one thing he hated worst about sickness or pain was that it forced you to be more into self than is safe for folks like him and me. I hope your pain ends today and that the "work" gives immediate and satisfactory results.

I received my Master's degree at age 43, and I recall how those young'uns just sailed through the work, and the exams. But for me was hard work.

Yet I scored higher than most of them at grad time, 3.8 or something like that.

Congratulations on your excellent passing work/grade. You must love it, also.

Few more hours, and tooth-hurty will be hithtory, hopefully!
