Friday Morning

I am tired this morning. I didn't sleep well last night. My kids were out half the night and I had to calm myself and tell myself over and over that they are adults. Adults. Adults. They finally got home at 2:30 a.m. It is none of my business what they were doing.

The Broncos first pre-season game is 5 weeks from tonight! August 11!

I'm not and never will be a parent. But it must be oneof lofe's toughest requirements to Let Kids Be Themselves and Not What We Want Them To Be.

Yes, it's pretty weird to think of your kids the same as when *YOU* were that age. I think I do fairly well with it, but hubby has a reeeally hard time - "daddy's little girl" and all that, ya know?

Take a bath and a nap later MC. Restore yourself!

pssst - I LOVE love love football! (Packer fan here, I heart Brett!)

Except the early preseason stuff makes me kind of sad 'cos it's a sign that summer is ending.... :(

I know this sounds silly but, (I am going to tell you anyway) Sam drove a bumper car by himself a few weeks ago. While we were in line waiting, I wanted to impart my vast store of bumper car knowledge to him. I stopped myself and asked him if he wanted any advice about how to drive. NO he said and rolled his eyes. You know what, he did great.

I could only imagine, because I am not there yet. I guess it would be like a helpless feeling.

Yes I get it they are adults. The problem is we will always be parents. Not sure about JJ though trying to make dAAve out to be something short of honest.

Yeah, my lil guy is 4, I have not slpet completely soundly since we came home from the hospital... right now, his "difficulties" are challenging and cute mainly. I am not necessarily looking forward to when his difficulties become adolescent and adult sized... I only hope that I will have grown in my program, that HP will equip me to handle my boy as He wishes me to...

thanks for the post, and, Broncos?? we were doing so well until you mentioned them, he he I of course, am a Browns Fan, still smarting from the mid 80's beatings y'all gave us (and we gave ourselves) in those AFC Champ games... Not a season goes by where we a free from having to watch "The Drive" geeze....

The drive.... oh yes.
The first football game I ever watched. And I have been hooked ever since.
