Another back injury

See that cute little tree with the pretty little lights? It's cute, isn't it? I really like it. I have two of them in front of my house. They were formerly on my deck, in the back of my house. They got to the front of my house by me picking them up and carrying them from the back to the front. Did I ask my 6'5" son, in the peak of health and fitness, to pick them up and move them for me? No, I did not think to do that. Some day I will learn. My back is killing me. And I can't run with a back like this, so it throws my world asunder.

I just erased two paragraphs of how tired and busy I am. As my friend Larry would say "fuggedaboudit!" Pain is a challenge and colors my world. This too shall pass....

Why is it we do things like that? Is it because we are hard-headed? Or we just run willy nilly through the world? I have yet to figure out, so if you do please let me know.

I know my back would be better if I did excercises for for it, or lost weight.

I do things alone because I want to prove that I can do them. Not always prudent for sure. Hope that the back gets better soon.

Sometimes I think it would have been better if God had given me more brains rather than a strong healthy back. But then I find out there may be no correlation, exponential or otherwise, between the two....Double recoverer you! Hang in and quit moving that S--T! Love you bunches

I can't remember the last time I used the word asunder --- on purpose.
Who knew that you'd take the phrase keep coming back seriously?

Daave, how would you use the word "asunder" accidentally?

I had to look up that word.

"apart: into parts or pieces;"

Well your little Christmas tree(s) is/are brilliant. Maybe someone is trying to tell you to slow down? Not fun I know. Mitch has back problems and when he exerts himself he owns the consequences.

When I worked in veterinary medicine sometimes the vet would intentionally not give the pet pain meds so the pet would feel discomfort. THe result was that the pet was not active and so the body would heal.
