Monday Morning

Tulips with weeds.  Yesterday tied a record for high temperature.... today we are expecting a snow and rain mix.  It looks like there is a bit of snow out there now.

Yesterday the migraine came back.  I sat on the couch, very sad, because I was invited to a friend's 71st birthday party.  He has been sober for 20 some years - just slightly shorter than me - and I know I would have seen some old friends at the party.  I would have liked that.  I might go to the doctor today if I continue to feel like this.

Yesterday I wrote about "front and center."  When I walked into church with my friend, guess where I was seated?  Yep.  Front row, on the isle, on the left side of the church.

Let's all stay sober again today, OK?

Mary, if you have a moment, slip over to my blog for the photo!

It's time to cast off that migraine, girl.

If I looked outside and saw snow in March, I would just start packing to board the alien ship. We worked on the pool all weekend barefooted.
I'm so so sorry that your head is still hurting so bad.
Yes, if it does not improve please go to the doctor little Tulip Weed.

The time to cast off a migraine is before it starts. I don't know how to do that though. And if I did, I would be a gazillionnaire.

Daave, for Colorado this is not strange. It is, however, frustrating because my lilac buds will likely get frozen (and killed) later this week. :(

Isn't there a shot that knocks out migraines? Sorry you have to deal with this. Get better soon, please.

I love the variety of Colorado weather. Let's hope and pray we get the moisture we need.

As someone who's headaches and suffering (not nearly as bad as migraine, though) are brought on by lilacs in bloom, I can see the brighter side of loosing a bloom or 2...

I encourage you to please see the dr. There is help, as you know, for mirgaines and for me at least, they take over my life. I am blessed to have not had one in a few years. Before that I had them for 25 yrs. They completely knocked me on my arse and I was not able to work for at least 2 days when they hit. On another note, I can't wait to see your tulips bloom!

I hope that the migraines go away. That is tough to have a pounding head. I guess that the tulips are over with now. Their beauty is short-lived.
