This morning I woke up early enough to get to the gym before going to the 6:30 meeting and then go to breakfast with the women of the group. What a morning!Last night I went to church with the woman who has asked me to be her sponsor for confirmation. I had no idea I was going to be standing in the front of the church, and laying hands on and praying for all of the elect. It was a very powerful experience. It took a lot of prayer to get over myself and think about them instead of worrying about ME! Standing in front of the church!
I am grateful to be sober. I am grateful to be this person who God has taken the time to make.
