Cleaning House

Sometimes it is a good thing to clean your house literally as well as figuratively.

Today I am going to get this place as clean as I can in one day.

It is important to me.

While I have laundry going, I will mow the lawn, do the trimmer thing, pull a few weeds....
come inside and mop the floor, scrub some other floors, dust, scrub, etc.

Then I will take a bath and get ready to go to church tonight.

When I come home from there, I will continue work on a painting I started last night. I am so excited about it, I woke up thinking about it. And then I went to a meeting... and the grocery store... and now I am here. And so are you.

And we all get to be sober under the same sun today. Thank you God :)

Cute post! Let me say, when you need a new washer, check out a front loader. It really does use less water, less detergent, and gets clothes cleaner. The water savings was astounding to me when I got the first water bill.

Sounds like an exhausting plan of action...reminds me of my 'to do' list for the day too! Holding on to the joy of tasks completed and a clean house! Well worth the effort.

Love the thought of all of us under the same sun working at our own many forms of sobriety....

Good stuff.

At first, when I saw that picture, I thought you might be agitated.

Funny, I am doing the same thing. It's cleansing too after a difficult period in life.

I love the sense of cleaning my nest. Mine needs it too - I hope I can get some work done on that tomorrow.

Blessings and aloha..

LOL @ Dave!

I noticed last night my floors need mopping. Plus I need to dust. Texas is the dustiest place I have ever lived.

I love a clean white washing machine.
I washed all day yesterday and it was wonderful to watch the folded stack grow taller.

he he happy post :-) I've been doing a bit of cleaning/honey do's myself. It feels good, spending the day/weekend accomplishing things that need to be done.

You must free your place from things that you are no longer using. If you are hesitant to throw them away, you may use your storage room to hold all of them or some storage boxes to sort them properly.
