I have my apron on already. I will write this and then hit the kitchen. My son and daughter-in-law will be here at 12:30 for lunch.
I went to confession yesterday afternoon and then to mass. You know, I wonder if I ever would have been convinced to go back to that sacrament if the big book had not urged me. Thank God it did. It is the most wonderfully healing thing.
I really must get on my way to a wonderful sober day.

I hope that you have a wonderful day MC. Love the photo of the park.
Your post reminded me that I am in need of an apron. I love the picture in that there is no snow in it! Have a blessed day.

I wish you the best of days. Sounds like you have a good plan to receive it.
Blessings and aloha...
Dear one, I visited your post as part of an assignment for a Master's program in mental health. I was touched by the comment concerning the cultish feeling in AA because of all the extras that have been integrated into the program. I am not a drinker, just wine now and then and only with dinner--however, I was in a church cult 25 years ago and I know how devistating that can be. For me it cost everything, my wife, kids, home, business--simply everything and all because of a church doctrine. After I got back on my feet (as they say) I went through the whole Bible all over again and learned that we make heaven our home, not because of what we know, rather, WHO we know. I then started working on my relationship with Jesus. Mary, thank you for taking time to create your blog. Blessings to you always, lma
What a beautiful photo and a wonderful shared expeirence! :)
