Back to work

I have not set foot in my office since Tuesday of last week.  I am looking forward to going back today.   I am sure I look like I have been through a war, I ran 10 miles yesterday and my entire body hurts.

My Broncos ended their season last night. I only watched until half-time, and then I went to bed.  I got 10 hours of sleep last night.  I should be as fresh as a daisy, but I am not feeling so fresh this morning.

I am sure once I get back to work the world will look a lot brighter.  I am not good at being off work for 5 whole days in a row - unless I am on a specific vacation.  I did get my house spruced up and I got a few things done that needed to be done, so I am grateful for that.

I have not one thing to say today, so I better just toddle off to the bath tub and get going today.

Let's all stay sober today, OK?

A ten hour sleep must be nice. My bladder won't allow for such.

I don't mind being off and relaxing. Glad that you got those miles done that you had hoped to. A good hot soak in the tub will help those muscle aches. Or at least I tell myself that.

Yes, I'll stay sober today. thanks.

Yesterday the Dolphins earned a continuation of their season. Yipeee!
OOoooops. Sorry!

I'll try to be more careful in the future, promise. Is that an end-of-the-year (hidden) amend? Well, it could be.

I was itching to get back to work today - all that cleaning and baking at home had me feeling well domesticated! ha!

Have a great new year!

I cannot really handle unstructured time at home for more than a day. I get the blues, I start thinking about what "everyone else" should be doing. I set up expectations in my head and then get down when they are not met. Especially at Christmas!

I wish I did not have to dread time off.

I do not struggle with alcohol, my father did, and I am shocked I do not. I have all of his symptoms personality wise, I just choose to medicate mine with food or compulsive buying, etc.

Congrats on the run! Glad your happy to be back at work, but you know I sometimes feel sloggy when getting back to work after time off...hope that you are doing well.

Here's to another sober day!
