Thank you so very much for all of the lovely comments yesterday. I am always surprised by the reactions of people. And you bloggers seldom let me down. By the way, did you notice that God's gift from down under is gone?
I was up for a couple of hours in the middle of the night - and when I did get back to sleep, I slept until after 6:00 - which is WAY too late for me to get up. So I've got to skedaddle off to work.
I have one day left of this whirlwind I have been in all week. One day. I can do ANYTHING for one day - even stay sober!

This could be the beginning (or continuation) of something beautiful!
I, too, want to add my thanks to you for being "real."
When I first got sober I was encouraged to read a little book called "The Velveteen Rabbit," a beautiful story about becoming real.
Your honest sharing about ups and downs in sobriety, and yet not drinking no matter what, are very helpful and encouraging to all of us out there trudging!
I am now singing with Debbie Boone to "You Light Up My Life." (Can't carry a tune in a bucket, but I don't care and neither does HE. Have a great weekend.

Ghurl, you really hit the nail on the head with yesterdays post. I have an intense dislike for mean people. Hang in there honey, we all go thru this crap. You will come out on top because you have a strong program. Luv ya.
I hope this weekend you can get break from work, and get some r&r in have a good day MC
I have been right where you are at so many times!!! Thanks for sharing it. I, too, have gotten myself caught up in that hamster wheel of life!!! You should have seen me during finals week this year, and all of a sudden there is tons of OT to be had at work. I also work outdoors in NE Ohio and the thermommeter barely broke 20 all week! By the grace of GOD I made it through. My sponsor made me realize everything that was going on was exactly what I wanted! Rest well my blogger friend.
I almost let today get by without commenting.
I think we should both try to sleep until 6:00 at least one day a week...little parsley snip
