The Wind is Howlin'

The wind is blowin'. I can hear grit/ice/dirt hitting my sky lights! It is really blowing, they say on the news that there are gusts up to 80 mph. I have heard that my route to work is a sheet of black ice. This is when I am very grateful that I don't have an 8:00 meeting this morning. I don't have any meetings at all today! Woo Hoo! I can leave for work after 8:00, maybe by then the roads will have improved, or at least there won't be so many people on them. Yikes. I just heard something substantial hit the side of my house. I can't believe I still have electricity.
